These SMS Terms & Conditions explain how Soul Seated Journey uses text messaging. By providing your mobile phone number and opting in to receive text messages from Soul Seated Journey, you agree to these SMS Terms & Conditions.

Soul Seated Journey is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving emerging adults and the broader community through programs, events, resources, and related support.

SMS Program Description

Soul Seated Journey may send SMS/text messages related to program and application follow-up, event reminders, intake and handoff coordination, scheduling and participation support, volunteer-related communications, fundraising or donor-related communications when applicable, and one-to-one conversational communication with our team.

Soul Seated Journey does not typically use SMS for general marketing or news updates.

Opt-In Consent

You may opt in to receive text messages from Soul Seated Journey through website forms, HubSpot forms, Wix forms, paper forms, verbal consent, or other direct consent methods.

By opting in, you authorize Soul Seated Journey to send text messages to the mobile number you provide for the purposes described in these SMS Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy.

Consent to receive text messages is not required to apply for a program, participate in a program, attend an event, make a donation, volunteer, or receive services from Soul Seated Journey.

Message Frequency

Message frequency may vary.

For general updates, message frequency is typically up to four messages per month. During active program participation, application follow-up, intake coordination, event coordination, or other time-sensitive participation periods, message frequency may be higher, including up to two to three messages in a given week.

Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and mobile plan.

Soul Seated Journey is not responsible for charges from your mobile carrier.

Opt Out

You may opt out of receiving SMS/text messages from Soul Seated Journey at any time by replying STOP to any text message from us.

After you reply STOP, we may send one confirmation message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After that, you will no longer receive SMS/text messages from Soul Seated Journey unless you opt in again.

You may request help at any time by replying HELP to any text message from Soul Seated Journey.

Soul Seated Journey respects your privacy.

Mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, and SMS consent information will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except as necessary to provide SMS services, comply with law, or support the operation of our messaging program.

Supported Carriers and Delivery
SMS/text message delivery is subject to mobile carrier availability and network conditions. Delivery is not guaranteed.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Eligibility
Soul Seated Journey primarily serves emerging adults ages 18 and older. Some individuals may contact us or engage with us before turning 18, including individuals who are 17 and preparing for future participation.

If you are under 18, parent or guardian involvement, consent, or emergency contact information may be requested where appropriate or required.

Changes to These SMS Terms & Conditions
We may update these SMS Terms & Conditions from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the effective date above.

Your continued participation in Soul Seated Journey SMS/text messaging after updated terms are posted means you accept the updated terms.
